Hi y’all! I’m so excited to have had the opportunity to be a guest on the Market Forte YouTube Channel for inktoberfest! I decided to go with autumn themed cards and I’m in love with them! I showcased distress oxide techniques.

The first card is a distress oxide Ink resist card. I first clear embossed pumpkins on the background with an acrylic block. Then, I applied 3 colors of distress oxide with foam blenders. Then, I die cut 3 circles for the center piece and ink blended it yellow with distress oxide. I then stamped my sentiment, hello autumn, onto the yellow circle. I glued the 3 circles together and kept the sentiment on top. I glued my card onto the card base and adhered the sentiment circle on top.

My second card I played with watercoloring with distress oxide inks! How fun is that? To start off I taped my watercolor paper onto a hardboard (I’m just using a clipboard). I smeared some ink onto my stencil mat and sprayed water onto it. Then, I took my wet paint brush, dipped it in color, and applied it to the paper. Make sure to let your layers dry to give the color more dimension. To finish things off I gold embossed the pumpkin latte stamp twice onto the center of this card. I glued the top onto the card base and there you have it! A fun pumpkin latte card.
Thank you so much for reading and watching! Have a blessed day!
